Multi-joint robots have been widely used in a variety of fields including electronic products industry, auto industry, plastic industry, pharmaceutical industry and food industry for operations such as materials handling, assembling, spray coating, welding, palletizing and loading/unloading for machine tool.
In foundry works, multi-joint robots can be used to realize the handling of casting parts in forging process, which is always to hot for workers to operate. The robot lifts the fixture into the die-casting machine to remove the workpiece, and then completes the integrity check of the workpiece; after checking the robot deliver the workpiece to the cooling station till it is cooled enough. The robot returns to the cylinder liner heating zone to grasp the heated cylinder liner for inserting. After serveral fine treatment procedures, the robot then complete the finished product discharge. The whole process is complete at one time while maintaining safe production and high efficiency advantages.
