Sheet metal processing
Sheet metal material with different width and thickness is usually stocked in coils. Effective handling, transportation and further processing are quite important. The coiled sheet metal is mainly processed in the following ways:
1. Can be cut into a plurality of single coils with reduced width
2. Can be cut into rectangular or irregular shape for further processing
3. Can be sent directly to punching machine
Coil slitting
Cutting is a shearing process, in which the original coil width is reduced to a narrow coil. It can cut all kinds of material and thickness, from thin foil to thick plate. Normally, the outer edge of the main coil is trimmed. This creates an accurate registry that provides a reference point for cutting.
Coil blanking
Medium sized sheet metal parts are fed from a stack of blanks to the press.
Coil processing line
Coil processing significantly improves the efficiency of sheet metal stamping operations as well as other
processing lines, such as roll forming and pipe manufacturing. Because the coil is continuously fed
through the system, uninterrupted production can be realized. In addition, the coil processing line can eliminate the need for separate blanking machine to reduce storage and processing requirements.
Our sheet material automated processing line is an integration of all kinds of highly automatic machines, including automatic loading and unloading machine, automatic conveying and fixing system, automatic slitting and cuttting mechanism, automatic bending and punching machine, automatic palletizing machine, and automatic wrapping machine. The complete line is based on our advanced robot system and independantly developed automation machines.
